【Air Pollution Monitoring System】
TMG has installed 82 air quality monitoring stations to monitor Tokyo's air quality for 24 hours a day.

Preliminary report values are uploaded hourly to the website of the Bureau of Environment and displayed on colored maps. (*available in Japanese only at the link below)

【Types of Monitoring Stations】
■Ambient Air Monitoring Stations: Monitoring stations installed in residential areas to measure general air quality
■Roadside Air Pollution Monitoring Stations: Monitoring stations installed beside major roads or intersections to determine the influence of automobile emissions

【Measured Pollutants】
■Pollutants defined by Environmental Standards: Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM), Photochemical Oxidant (Ox), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5)
■Other measured pollutants and weather information: Nitrogen Monoxide (NO), Methane (CH4), Non-methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC), Wind Direction (WD), Wind Speed (WS), Temperature (TEMP), and Humidity (HUM)
