C40 networks are active working groups of C40 cities with commonly identified opportunities, interests or priorities. Networks are supported by C40 staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and peer-to-peer exchange, as well as to provide direct support to cities developing local policies, programmes or projects, often through managed partnerships.
City representatives connect with one another on topics of common interest, as seen in the illustration above. Engagement in Networks is fluid and will change over time as the focus of the Network shifts or as the opportunity for action in a given city emerges.
