Tokyo took up the position of co-chair in the Private Sector Buildings Energy Efficiency Network (PSBEEN) together with Sydney in line with Tokyo’s ongoing desire to contribute actively to the pursuits of the C40.  More Details about PSBEEN

June 2014, Tokyo hosted the C40 PSBEEN Workshop, and also hosted the Tokyo Forum on Building Energy Efficiency to bring together additional stakeholders to tackle common issues in partnership with C40. ⇒See more about C40 PSBEEN Workshop


With an audience of over 300, including members from C40 Private Sector Building Energy Efficiency Network and the Asian Cities Workshop, Tokyo Forum on Building Energy Efficiency was held at TMG Conference Hall on June 20.
The Governor of Tokyo, Mr. Masuzoe, stressed the importance of collaboration with C40 and Asian cities and declared his commitment to the promotion of global climate actions in his opening remarks. Everyone in attendance was keen to gain up-to-date information on both building energy efficiency policies and technologies from experts across the globe while also enjoying fruitful panel discussions.
